Mr Bruce Kenison was for many years a
radio commentator on Commodities Trading - like soybeans and hog
bellies -- and also published a training course based on his years of
study and trading. He discovered certain cycles in
commodity prices and also found that these cycles obtain in every time
frame...from weekly charts down to 5 minutes. He devised an "always in the market"
technique that lost money during sideways choppy trade, but that always
participated in large moves -- whether up or down. He also formulated a portfolio of 21
commodities which were non-correlated. When one sector was choppy,
others were sure to be trending and making money, and therefore he
limited his losses. His trading style relied on no
indicators whatsoever. Nowadays his style would be called "price action
trading". It utterly depended on the rythmn of the market itself to
warn of impending trend changes. I first met Mr. Kenison when I was a
commodities broker and was looking for a trade advisory that would
actually help people make money. His system worked where others' didn't. Because he had no website and I had been
a programmer before, I wrote his site for him and he, in turn, mentored
me in his technique. When he suddenly became ill and could no
longer publish his advisory, I stepped in and published it for a few
years. He
has recovered now, but no longer publishes his advisory. There has been
some demand that I take up the slack again... and I'm considering it. In the meantime, if you can get ahold of
his trading course, by all means do so.
