As you enter the historic village you go back in time to an era when the Cherokee lived in small villages next to a flowing stream, guarded by sentries, and ministered to by Medicine Men. The tour itself takes about an hour and is directed first by a tour guide, but then as you proceed, each area is presented by Cherokees in Native Dress who describe (and demonstrate) another Cherokee custom. Clicking on each picture will take you to another page with more pictures.
